álvaro&tania is a work in which two Madrilenian dancers share with the audience the reasons why they like to dance together, revisit the bodies they pursued in those days they trained to dance and, in some way, build a memory on a particular period of Madrid. It is a piece about the dreams held by a generation of dance and theatre students. Using their bodies and recollections, Álvaro and Tania sculpt a map on stage; a map made of schools, festivals, contact jams, journeys around the world, friends and workshops. A map made of practiced physical images and learnt muscle tones.
